SWEET POTATO PIE
1 pie shell
3 cups cooked sweet potatoes
1/2 cup sweeten condensed milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon orange and lemon rind
Add all ingredients together and beat well. Turn into pastry shell. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake for 45 minutes or longer or until metal knife comes out clean when inserted halfway into center.
